Neil Gaiman coming to Melbourne

The very successful author Neil Gaiman will be in Melbourne next week; he’ll be one of the several authors at Continuum, the fiction and pop culture convention happening from July 15 to 17 in the Hilton on the Park hotel, in East Melbourne.

Gaiman will also be doing a lecture followed by a book signing session at the State Library on Monday, 18 July, at 6:30pm. The Library says that booking in advance is essential if you want to attend (8664 7014 or youthlit@slv.vic.gov.au), and the cost is $10.

I missed on the chance of seeing Gaiman in Oxford almost two years ago (he did a reading of Coraline one day after I was there), and I do intend to see him this time (even though it looks like the session at the Library is geared towards younger readers).

Any other Gaiman fans out there?
