Its the last few hours of 2005. Some of us are celebrating the coming of the New Year in the city while the rest of us, well, some of us are just going to stare at the television, watching all the fireworks display in both Sydney and Melbourne.

Any thoughts? Well, it has been a year of ups and downs …but mostly downs. All the disasters come foremost to my mind. I look forward to the New Year and hope for a safer, happier year.
