The new Coca-Cola
Has anyone tried the new Zero Coca cola yet? It says zero sugar on the can.
I was tempted enough to give it a try … taste like diet coke, with sweetener. I’ll stick with the original!

It’s apparently exactly the same as diet coke, but targeted towards males instead of females. Because diet coke is a ‘female’ drink they needed something to target males.
Having just moved here from the US, the idea of Coca-Cola Zero is that it is based on the “original Coca-Cola formula” whereas Diet Coke was started from scratch but used NutraSweet. Coke Zero uses some other artifical sweetener. Australia is lucky in that Real Coke has genuine sugar, the US variety uses everyone’s favorite high fructose corn syrup. The true test is whether Coke Zero is drinkable with some Bourbon (unlike Diet Coke), so it passes the test for this adopted Aussie.
Sorry Drew, incorrect, in Australia Coke Zero is using exactly the same sweetner system as Diet Coke. Which is why it tastes so crap.

Somehow, the diet/zero/flavoured versions just doesn’t sit well in me tum. Give me the orginal any day!
I don’t mind Coke Zero. It’s got more of a coke taste than diet coke. I read they are using more of a coke flavour for it, whereas diet coke has a unique taste formula of its own. Tasty to me.
