Chocolate to drive away the winter blues…
I found a chocolate place in Melbourne Central. Tucked away in a corner of the building, the best way to describe it is the tiny lane accessible from little lonsdale street closer towards the Elizabeth street end. You know … the tiny lane with all the cafes next to the office building. I saw people having chocolate fondue, hot chocolate … yummy. Expensive but irresistible.
My latest chocolate fad was triggered by something I saw at the last home show. This company, Groovy Chocolate, was able to print colour photos onto chocolate. Just imagine … being able to lick a favourite person or to bite into a least favourite person. Either way, it is still chocolate. Since Mother’s day is round the corner, just imagine buying chocolate for your mother or mother-in-law!:)
Anyone tried french fries dipped in chocolate?

Pictures on a chocolate - that might make an interesting gift?
Strange that I’ve never had french fries dipped in chocolate although I’ve tried them with ice cream before. :D
I’m coming to Melbourne in July. This sounds very cool… I’d love to try it.
How is it compared to Max Brenner?
Try Fraus in Victoria St in North Melbourne! Is great for hot chocolates really thick ones in white, hazelnut, coffee tira misu the list foes on…
I second the Fraus recommendation … although that weird glass floor bit in front of the counter always freaks me out!
Ordered some chocolate from Groovy Chocolate the other day - I couldn’t believe the picture quality, looks almost too good to eat! Tested out their “we’ll print ANYTHING on chocolate” policy - yes they do! That’s all my birthday presents sorted for the next year! Thanks squirt.
I love Max Brenner - it’s amazing - but have you ever been to KOKO BLACK? Its in one of the arcades off Bourke Street Mall - hand made chocolates to die for. Hot chocolate fresh made - plus there is a great place to sit upstairs and hang out.
Speaking of fries- have you ever tried LORD OF THE FRIES? Incredible - i think they may have chocolate dipped fries - or if not - they should!!!
