Campaign for real beauty or not!

Have anyone seen the Dove’s billboard high along Elizabeth street? I know it is obvious standing on the corner of Elizabeth and Lonsdale street outside the church. The counters have been tallying the votes for either flawless or freckled. For the past few weeks, I’ve watched the counters swing between the two, sometimes the freckled one will be leading and on other days, the flawless one will lead. This has been a campaign by Dove to Campaign for Real Beauty.

Real beauty or not, it is interesting to see what people think. Would be nice if they could have broken down the tally by gender.

Hmm. What I don’t get is why they ask people to choose between freckled and flawless if they’re trying to break stereotypes.
