Did people sleep in today?

I did. I don’t know how I am going to stay awake for the next game for Australia. There were enough sleepy people on the train to confirm that most people had their eyes glued to the television early this morning.

Unfortunately not. But I have to be at work by 10am, so 4 hours sleep is not too bad.

For the next game, the method might be to go to bed early and wake up for the 5am game. It will be quite hard since we are all used to watching the games late at night.

Ditto - only a few hours sleep. Double-whammy of the 2-0 loss + the fact that it’s Monday. It can’t get much worse…:)

Had a nice sleep in until 9.30 — our work had said to employees they can come in around 11 and work back late if they wish. Thank god, the 5 or so pints left me with a moderate headache.

Watched the game down at The Local in St.Kilda on a big screen. Very glad I went down there in the end (tempting to watch on couch under a doona) — brilliant atmosphere, good crowd.

The game was on at a cosy 8p.m here in Mauritius. How cool is that? But unfortunately we aren’t getting the Aussies-Croatia game live on tv! Yep, Brasil instead, pfff.

    Shits.
