Not enough hot air

This hot air balloon and another came crashing down in the city on Friday morning carrying 19 passangers. It was because of still wind conditions that the pilots had to cut short their journey. The one above landed on the VCA and the other landed on the forecourt of the Shrine of Remembrance.
No one was hurt (actually, one passangers was even quoted as being quite excited about what happened!) the police were called though, but they said they haven’t lost confidence in the hot air balloon pilots.

Did the police turn up on horses? The building on the right edge of the photo is their stables. If only I still worked in the city, I would have been walking past there at the time.
