The Leonardo Da Vinci Machines: an Exhibition of Genius

davinci_banner.jpg

from the flyer:

“From the Museum of Leonardo da Vinci in italy, Waterfront City is proud to present this significant international exhibition displaying 64 interactive models of Leonardo da Vinci’s famous machines, constraucted by Florentine artisans and based on Da Vinci’s famous codices.”

probably not a good idea to mention that Leonardo da Vinci should be refered to as “Leonardo” and not “Da Vinci” (which just means “of the city of Vinci”). but what the heck, if you’re a history buff like me, go down and take a look.

sure, its only models of his designs, but my interest is still piqued. on till the 1st of october only. a bit pricey for normal adult entry, but i should be able to get in with the student conession, and i’ll try to report on whether its worth it :)
