Blogs like us.

Whilst reading Neil’s post (http://melbourne.metblogs.com/archives/2006/09/the_sonic_manip.phtml) on the city busker, the “Spaceman” I noticed a little Thanks to “Fitzroyalty”. Obviously, having connections to the name, (because, I living here for 10 years, am indeed in the ‘Fitzroyalty’ category) I clicked on it, and found that it was a link to a Fitzroy blog. – Unlike ours, it only has on writer. It’s colourful, funny, and is like any personal blog. Sometimes it has just a picture, and a few sentences of description.
I also saw a link to a Smith Street blog. This blog is interesting, because they developers actually asked folks to tell THEM what they wanted from a Smith Street blog. Not much is written on the blog as yet, but there is a really great little write up about the history of Smith Street that I found really facinating, seeing as Smith has been a big part of my life in the last 10 years.
