Slow Food Markets

banner_slow_food.gifI ate and drank, to my hearts content. We started with a tasting plate from Central Victoria, then a meal at Canteen and then some organic beer from the boys of Mountain Goat. The kiddies did a little bee dance which was oh so cute and then we had oysters. We had special Chai, and olives seeped in oregano and lemon slices, glasses of wine. It was lush.

Thanks to Abbotsford Blogger I’ve found out that I don’t have to wait till next year!! There’s going to be a Slow Food Farmers Market on the fourth Saturday of each month. I love famers markets, fresh produce and a chance to talk to the people who actually grow your food - strange but true.

So mark it in your diary Slow Food Farmers Market 8am-1pm - 28th October, 25th November and 23rd December while you’re at it mark in the Collingwood Children’s Farmers Market also 8am-1pm 14th October, 11th November and 9th December. Yum.
