My KK experience…
WELL - I finally got myself down to Krispy Kreme - not like I wanted to go - my best mate Kat dragged me along.
Ok, I was addicted to them a little while ago, but KK just doesn’t make me feel good - maybe it’s because I now know what I am eating is pure lardy lard…
So, the stores on the corner of Collins and Spenser Street - it’s bright green, you can’t miss it.
We went yesterday (Monday) at about 6ish and there was a line nearly to the door.
No biggie though, cos’ the line does move quite fast. - We were only in line for about five mins.
You pick your donut, or a dozen (I saw smaller boxes to - I’m sure you can get half a dozen) - which is one of those big white pretty boxes that you’ve probably seen everywhere.
Then, you can either go for a ’selection’ - which means they pick em’ for you, or can pick out the ones you want.
- My friend got a box of ‘assorted’ and a box of original glaze.
My favourite are the Glazed Crullers - though I had half of one and it made me feel yucky.
Therefore, I don’t think I will be visiting Krispy Kreme as much as I thought I would.
Though, they do have cute paper 50s hats with ‘Eat Krispy Kreme’ on the side that little kids were wearing.
Cute.
