professional trivia master?

tonyb.jpgAre you a professional trivia master? I sure as heck would like to be. But like most of the population I sit back fighting the itch to sms my mum for the answers.

If you are looking to start out, the Corner in Richmond is a great place to begin. Also – $12 pot and parma, you cant lose.

What are your trivia experiences? Apparently trivia nights are popping up like Krispy Kreme outlets. Whats close to you?

    I’m a total trivia addict.

I’m down at the Tudor Inn in Cheltenham every Wednesday night. $5 parma and a great triviamaster (if that’s a word)!

Wow! $5 parma. I should visit Cheltenham more often.

As for trivia, I don’t fare well without Google near me.

Hi ben! are you new? Havn’t seen you around before. Perhaps i’m just oblivious. Excuse my ignorance.

Trivia! Loved it! I spent a week in Sydney last year and had dinner in pubs around the city every night for the good food, beautiful women and great trivia!

Too busy in Melbourne, but i’ve sat in Bunker Bar opposite RMIT uni once. Trivia was interesting, but the turn out was poor. Mehhhh…

    hey there adrock2xander,
yes – i am your newbie for today.
i think the secret to a good trivia night is a good parma.
Alex, was the $5 parma any good?

I wouldn’t say it’s the height of cuisine (it’s not a parma you’d pay $12 for, let’s say), but it’s a pretty good feed for the price.

I’m something of a tivia nut. For the past year and a half my friends and I have been regular at the Mitcham Hotel on Tuedays for Trivia. We don’t usually buy meals, but hoe into $4 bowls of chips, $7 nachos and $7 wedges. You can grab hotel memberships and score Cokes for $1.

Its Fame Trivia, with 45 Questions, spot drink card giveaways, there’s a range of questions on history, geography, sports, events including audio questions, pic a pic, and every week there is a homework question for the regular trivia nuts.

Mitcham Hotel (cnr Mitcham Rd & Whitehorse Rd Mitcham) Tuesday nights 8pm

Lately, though, we have been getting into Trivia at Father O’Flannagans on Princes Rd Fitzroy. Very laidback, very fun, lots of drink giveaways, 6 rounds of category based trivia. More importantly, the Parma is really quite good.
    Tuesday nights, 8pm.

PS The Parma is 13 bucks at Flanagans

Is there a fee for entering the trivia at Father O’Flannagans? or any of the others mentioned?

I played once at Percy’s bar, corner of Lygon/Elgin St. Carlton, and each person on the team had to pay a few bucks.
