Seems like Big Brother on the tele isn’t enough…
Endemol, the great guys that bring us BB, will also bring us Australia’s first Virtual reality show. They will pick 15 contestants who will spend eight hours a day in a special designed glass house. They will call this world, ‘Second life’
What I don’t understand is this - is this house actually a real life house, or is it one in virtual reality? If it is a virtual reality house, then can the contestants log in from home?
I’m confused….
I did go to the Second Life home page, and it’s totally surreal. You can create your own home, or even world! Apparently there are 20,000 acres of land in this ‘virtal world’, and 2.2 million members! I guess it’s like a real life virtual Sims!
What does the winner get you ask? He or she will receieve a virtual island within Second Life worth $1675.00 in US dollars!…. That doesn’t seem like a worth well prize to me… but that’s just me…
