The Age goes to the way of the Sun

If anyone picked up the local papers – The Herald Sun and The Age today, you would have noitced that The Age looked kinda different…
For those of you internationally that read our fair blog and don’t know what the Sun and the Age look like – the Sun is basically the size of a large magazine (like Hello! magazine) or a tabloid newspaper, and the Age is pretty much the same style of the New York Times, or USA Today.
Well, today, to my mothers shock, she came home with the bread and papesr gasping, “Oh… does… the Age look different?” I looked at it to see that it was the same format as the Sun!
I had done work experience at The Age a few years back, and they told me that though people found it harder to read than the Sun, they would never change their format.
I took a closer look at the Age, and realised that it was just a special Cup Day guide on the front and within it, was the good ol’ Age in it’s good ol’ format.

I never read the age for that exact reason, too bloody hard to read, unless you’ve got a 10 seater table to spread it out over. totally useless.
Though to be fair I don’t read any newspapers anymore. get it all online :)
