I’ve never seen a city more stenciled than Melbourne. I’m not quite sure why this is but I guess if you are going to create graffiti you might as well make it neat. Well, its seems that big companies have realized the potential of stencils on people and have created an advertisement stencil for the new Borat movie. In revolt, it looks like pure stencilers have written “this is an ad” to signify it is not art.

In an aside, Borat has gotten some great reviews and I am looking forward to seeing it. Sacha Baron Cohen (Borat, Ali G) will be appearing Wednesday 15 November from 6pm at the Village Cinemas Jam Factory on Chapel St.

It looks GREAT! I saw a scene in the trailer where he walks past a good-looking girl and says, in his patented accent, “Very nice! How much???” I laughed so hard!

Gee, look at the stencil next to it - a guy blowin’ his brains out with love hearts comin’ out?! How hardcore!
