Opera house – a new seventh wonder?

Yeah, yeah, I know – the opera house IS in Sydney – but seeing we are the only Australian city on Metroblogging, I think the rest of Australia is fair ground for us to comment on.
And I, as a true Melbournian, can say that the opera house is one of the good things about Sydney (seeing as, being a true Melbournian, I’m not a big fan of Sydney.)
A new foundation (“New7Wonders Foundation”) has been set up to find the worlds new 7 wonders. And, after cutting down the list from 77 to 21, guess who made it into the finals? The beautiful opera house! On the 7th of July 2007, the votes will be counted up and announced to the world (so that the date will be 07/07/07 – get it, 7 wonders and all the sevens?….)
So get voting Australia! Go to – http://www.new7wonders.com
