Hola and Do widzenia

polish.jpgWell, while the city was in chaos with protestors, I was satisfying my taste buds through the city. Sunday, my travels took me to the Polish Festival in Federation Square. The Polish sure know how to make a good sausage. Now, the beer on the other hand, tastes like vodka. The vodka tastes like rubbing alcohol.

In addition to Polish food, I took in a taste of Hispanic food at the Johnston St. Festival. I am always impressed by the planning and consistent entertainment of the festival. This year didn’t disappoint. The weather was remarkablyspanish.jpg good (no hail or rain). Food-wise, there seemed to be a lot more sellers of Spanish donuts. Yum. Unfortunately, the Sangria and cold beers were flowing well and all of a sudden I’m listening to a rock concert at 1am Monday morning (which is why I am posting this Tuesday morning instead of Monday).

Some polish music.
