On the second day of Christmas my true love gave to me……

Market06200jpg.jpgThere ain’t that many days left between x’mas drinks, the final rush to beat that deadline, and the seasonal (or not so) friendly bbq/x’mas/housewarming/birthday get together to find something for the ones you love.

Lucky for you – the clever chicks at the National Design Centre have put together the Melbourne Design Market just for manically busy people like you – who have fine taste in Australian design, of course.

A widely successful feature of the Melbourne Design Festival, the Melbourne Design Market (aka ReadyMadeMarket), features over fifty stalls from emerging and established designers to leading design businesses – all in the carpark of Fed Square

Think of it as a super powered shopfest designed so you can find the elusive perfect pressie – products range from jewellery to homewares, graphic design to fashion products…….and there’ll be fine foods and coffee…..real coffee – mmmmm, cause you know that’s the fuel of choice for most designers……errrr when they’re workin….

Homegrown designers include: renown ceramicist – Gregory Bonasera; Mainichi; Poppies for Grace; Happy Finish Design (Nick Rennie); Mozi Design; alpha60 and Zakkaya to name just a few.

On from 10am-5pm, Sunday 3rd December in the Fed Square undercover car park. Enter via the Russell St extension or Riverside Walk. Entry is free.
