Plane luggage to become lighter.

Seems like we will all have to decided between mouth wash or deodorant when we board a plane after the 31st of March next year. Starting from that date, us Aussie won’t be able to carry more than a small amount of liquid – which includes gels and aerosel containers. This is due to the failed terrorist attempt on a UK flight in August.

If we are travelling internationally, you will only be able to carry thru 100mls or 100g containers (which we will have to take out of our bags and put through the security device like we do with metal objects. All liquids must also be contained in a see thru package no bigger than 20 by 20 cm.
What do you think – good so it will protect us more from terrorists – or bad because we are becoming as paranoid as the States?

Yeah, I hate it when a terrorist blows up the plane I’m on.

    …oh wait, that never happens.
