All Out of Hot Cross Buns on Easter?

Why, oh, why is everything closed over the Easter holiday? What happens if you run out of milk, pasta, or (gasp!) hot cross buns?

Don’t worry, the IGA at Princes and Drummond has you covered. They’re maintaining their usual business hours every day this weekend. I’m reasonably sure they’re open til 10pm each night. They also have a liquor store if you’re running low on your Easter VB. So if you live in Carlton,* life continues as usual.

Tragedy averted. Thanks IGA.

What about 7-11, aren’t they also open on easter holidays?

I suppose they’re open - and actually most things appear to be open today. I, however, needed wonton wrappers at 7pm last night. Even if it were an option, I don’t think I’d buy 7-11 wontons.

Thank goodness Safeway was back by Saturday. I so running low on supplies.

Also, if anyone reads this by Sunday - check out all the huge Easter sales going on, and maybe grab yourself a bargain!
