RACV’s latest offering to entice youngsters
I saw this recently but I’m not sure if it is a new product. It looks new and it is targeted towards the year 12 students and those between 18 to 20 years old.
RACV has a motoring program called free2go. It is free to join for 18 years olds or year 12 students and half price for 19 and 20 y.o. It provides the usual entertainment discounts available to normal RACV members, as well as emergency roadside assistance.
I imagine this is a pretty good deal, for beginner drivers and RACV’s benefits include discount tickets to attractions, entertainments as well as accommodation. I do understand that the roadside assistance is available to anyone who is a member, whether one is driving or not. I think it might come in useful if the nominated driver is under the influence of either drugs or alcohol. A quick call to RACV could avoid an accident.
