We live in Guelphia

Everyone loves a good map but this one is a bit overzealous in it’s state placement. The map, showing 10 states, is a proposal published in The Journal of the Royal Geographical Society. Guelphia consists of a combination of modern day Victoria, NSW and a sprinkle of South Australia. Victoria (proposed) on this map is located in southern WA and Tasmania in northern WA/NT.

Gotta love the English creativity with every state either ending in “ia” or “land”.

Yes, apparently there was some major continental drift.

According to Strange Maps, Spain and Portugal are there for size comparisons purposes.

    This isn’t fair!

I just figured out half of the 6 territories.
