Tiger Airways is coming to Melbourne but already, they have started selling tickets for both domestic and international travel.

With three low-cost airlines competing for your business, I say, there are bargains to be found. Both Jetstar and Virgin blue airlines are established for the domestic market with some short-haul international destinations. But with Tiger airways coming into our market, the dollar deals might become more frequent and regular.

What I found interesting on the Tiger airways website was that you pay extra for extra luggage, as in you can pay more to upsize your luggage allowance. As well as an additional $25 for extra legroom. Hmmm …

Did anyone manage to snatch up any of those $1 deals?
