Melbourne Twitter Underground Brigade
Do you Twitter? Then you should be at the next Melbourne Twitter Underground Brigade (MTUB). I was at MTUB#3 last night, and boy was it fun. No website or anything, but if you Twitter, following MTUB might be beneficial. Or there’s always the Facebook group, Twitter Melbourne. And if all else fails, watch upcoming.org.
Why is Twitter useful? Because it might be used as a micro news outlet? Maybe because you’d like to know if any of your friends are bored in Melbourne Central at this very moment, till, say, 1.5 hours from now? Its a social app, that in Melbourne, just got a lot more social for the last few months.
Highlights of last night: an iPhone made an appearance. There was lots of beer and pizza (thanks largely to Adobe for sponsoring), there was lots of talking, and I’ve uploaded a set of photos as well: Melbourne Twitter Underground Brigade (MTUB) #3. Oh, and did I mention, for the stragglers, there was also belly dancing!
