Its no secret that I love maps but check out what Peter Shaw from localhero.biz has set up. His AJAXy site pulls our feed as well as other local news sources and plots it onto a Google Map. If you drag the map to different areas, you will see stories pertaining to that area show up below. This is something I have long since wanted on the Metroblogging sites so it’s good to see someone else was thinking about it. I am very curious to know how all of the posts and news stories are being plotted (manually or by some smart algorithm).
