The Connex Melbourne Commuters Message Board

Reader Jason Tomlins has established The Connex Melbourne Commuters Message Board.

It’s not too big so far, but then it’s only been online for a month or so. The forums are set up to cover several areas; with four categories dedicated to catching up with some attractive stranger you met on the train, a Lost And Found forum, and one in which to post thanks for acts of kindness. And, of course, the Sound Off forum – for complaints about the Connex network. I imagine that one will be getting a bit of a workout…

My favourite off that board is in the Male to Female section:

“Hi, I’m looking for that cute girl i see riding on the hurstbridge line in the mornings around 7.30am getting on at Watsonia. Medium height, slim, long black hair and smartly dressed. Yesterday wearing a red button up shirt. Would love to get intouch with you. I’m the white guy, normally wearing dark colours, brown heavy jacket, short dark hair, earing, you may have noticed glancing at you often.”

Right.. that’s not creepy at all.
