I wonder if summer in Europe/the Americas is as fucking annoying as the summer in Down Under. I absolutely abhor the flies.

They are absolutely not as bad as in Oz. Holy hell, I’ve had to explain time and time again about the differences.

    N. American flies a) go away when you swat them, b) don’t land on your FACE!!!!!

The flies are literally my least favorite thing about Australia. They are so weird. I caught one coasting off my bike the other week. Bastard.

Yeah, I was in London for most of this past northern summer and it just didn’t feel like summer at all without having clouds of flies around my head. I think I saw like 2 flies the whole time I was there!

I wonder why the summer here is so different from the summer in other parts of the world. I know the flies exist due to the massive numbers of farms we have here, but the flies are ridiculous. I’ll be posting about flies soon. I’ve been AWOL for the last month coz my family’s visiting from overseas.
