No sympathies, but R.I.P anyway
This isn’t really Melbourne-related news, but Australian news nonetheless.
So Heath Ledger’s found dead. I was stunned for a few seconds - memories of his squirting gun incident, his marriage to beautiful Michelle Williams and his stunning role in Brokeback Mountain seemed to happen just yesterday - but reality set in.
No excuses there Heath. But you fucked up.
You have everything going for you. Anyone and everyone would kill to be in your shoes. You have the money, the glam, the youth and the gorgeous missus. Yet you chose to surround yourself with the ills of societies.
What can’t you solve with fame and money? Drugs is not the way out, mate.
Condolences to his family, but no sympathies for Heath himself.

Mate, I think you have crossed the line this time. Of all the news reports I have read, I don’t understand how you could come to such a harsh conclusion.
There are many things in life that can overpower us, that can overcome the strongest of men. For someone who doesn’t know Ledger on a personal or professional basis, you have said too much.
