Flinders Street: Closed for Filming
Travelling through the city this weekend will be a bit crazy. The Pacific, which has shot in various locations around the city, is filming outside Flinders St. Station this weekend. Starting at 10PM tonight until 8AM Monday, Flinders St between Russell and Queen Street will be closed. Trams, buses, pedestrians, trains and taxis will be diverted to elsewhere although it seems that the Swanston and Elizabeth Street trams will operate normally. I would expect huge crowds to watch the filming, although anyone looking for Tom Hanks or Stephen Spielberg will be disappointed to know that they aren’t in Australia.
