Picnic with your favourite bear!

Have you wanted to take out your favourite teddy bear for an outing but never dared to nor had the chance? Well, why not do both at the Ripponlea Teddy Bear’s Picnic. Bring your favourite teddy bear(s) for a picnic and enjoy the fun and games on the 24th February, this coming Sunday.

Ripponlea is a large National Heritage listed estate that has a beautiful garden that comes with its own lake. Its about 20 minutes drive away from the city, I think, depending on traffic conditions and where you are.

The Teddy Bear Picnic is a annual event, into its 18th year, and it has been promised that activities include an animal farm, rides, jumping castle and story-time corner for your favourite bear tales. There will also be live entertainment from Humphrey Bear and others.

Adults $15
Children $10
Concession $11
Family $49 (2 adults + up to 3 children)

Tickets can be bought on the day, or can be pre-purchased on the National Trust. website.

I’m guessing you really need to bring a child with you. Probably a bit weird just rocking up by yourself with a teddy bear.
