While the "it's/its" confusion does bother me, it's also understandable. We're taught that possessives take the format apostrophe+s: the farmer's crops, the plaintiff's objection, the Opposition's regrettable blunder. I can understand looking at "it's" and seeing a possessive pronoun rather than a contraction. But yes, I do wish that these kinds of publicly displayed announcements were written (and proofed) more carefully. It's tempting to blame text messaging for the decline in spelling standards, but remember when people blamed spell checkers in word processing programs? Wasn't all that long ago.

3. Outlet has a capital

That’s pretty bad for an ‘official’ publicly displayed sign.
